Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Sooo,

You guys know I love to bake, most of the times I bake not so healthy stuff and I really enjoy the process, but I rarely eat it. This cookies are the exception of course, I can eat the entire batch in one seating, they are a super healthy option for any weekday dessert or even a snack. I really can’t imagine a cookie with better ingredients than this. Here goes!

Note that this cookies are Vegan (if you use agave) and completely GLUTEN FREE!

Recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almond flour

  • 1 cup oats

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

  • 2.5 oz melted dark chocolate

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 3 tbsp almond butter

  • 3-5 tbsp agave syrup or honey

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Directions

Mix bananas, almond butter, agave/honey, and melted chocolate.

Mix all dry ingredients.

Slowly add dry ingredients to liquid mix until everything is very well incorporated.

Bake @350 F for 12-15 min

Very important note:

The sweetness of your cookies will directly depend on the cacao percentage in the chocolate that you’re using and the quantity of agave syrup or honey. I recommend using around 70% cacao chocolate and the 5 tbsp of agave/honey. But this is completely up to you, you can taste and adjust flavors until you have the perfect combination :)
